Coffee Talk Counseling

The idea of Coffee Talk Counseling began between two tired grad students on the way back from class. We wanted the stigma of therapy to be gone. We wanted therapy to be as normal as grabbing a cup of coffee. We wanted to own a coffee/therapy shop. Plus, we were sleep-deprived and surviving on coffee and a dream. We continued to work in our positions and grow as clinicians. Then one day, I decided it was time to get this ball rolling. I began providing telehealth therapy services to save for rent and an office. I found a small office in Liberal. Not the coffee shop I'd hoped for, but I did make a little coffee bar and a cozy place for people to stop in. In 2024 we added Maria Gutierrez, LMSW, she offers counseling in English and Spanish to teens and adults. If you would like to make an appointment, please give us a call or send an inquiry. We'll have you fill out the intake paperwork, review it, and schedule when we have an opening for a new client. We are currently full and working through our wait list.
